A luxurious, modern and stylish property in the heart of Kingsbridge which is furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard. The Property has large sliding doors leading  out onto the rear (south/west aspect) terrace or deck, where the hot tub is located overlooking the water with far reaching countryside views. The Property is bright and airy all year round, even on the dullest of days. Private parking is located immediately outside the Property.

The Space

Paddlers View is an architect-designed property built in 2017. The accommodation is extremely spacious with wonderful open plan living, dining and kitchen area with sliding doors which open out onto a private terrace or deck with luxury hot tub and spectacular panoramic views of Kingsbridge estuary and the surrounding countryside. 

Whilst relaxing on the terrace you can soak in the beautiful surroundings and watch the world go by. The Rivermaid passenger ferry makes (seasonal) daily trips between Kingsbridge and Salcombe, and many boat and enthusiastic paddle boarders can be seen heading out on the water to make the most of the tides.

Kingsbridge town centre is located a 5-minute walk away and The Crabshell, a water fronted restaurant and bar (serving the best pizzas) is only a 3 minute stroll from The Property.

Inside you’ll find the king bedroom with french doors opening out onto the veranda with the same rural views over Kingsbridge estuary. The bedroom wall is wood clad with king sized bed dressed with gorgeous bedding, faux fur cushions and blankets. You will find any excuse to stay in bed! The en-suite fully tiled bathroom has a bath, huge mirrored wall, hand held shower, basin and toilet with underfloor heating which runs throughout the Property - a real treat for your feet! We provide GHD hairdryer and straighteners (along with cotton wool pads and cotton buds). 

The twin bedroom has two single beds which can be pushed together if required. The main bathroom is adjacent which has a shower, toilet and basin. All bedding and towels are provided in addition to branded toiletries. 

Both bedrooms are large enough to accommodate a travel cot; please do make contact in advance if you require one.

The utility room is equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

The shaker style grey kitchen includes fridge, freezer, microwave, fan oven, hob, Nespresso Coffee machine, toaster, kettle, utensils and cupboards containing serving dishes and a few little extras.

Parking is provided adjacent to the front door and another space if required is available  either next to Paddlers View or out on the roadside.

Paddlers View is perfect for couples, families and friends. Please do make contact in advance of your booking if you are looking to bring a pet as there is an additional fee of £30.00 per pet per stay which I will email details of how to pay for this separately.

Guest access

Paddlers View is accessed via a private drive, with parking for 1 vehicle directly outside the property . There is additional free on street parking if required. The property benefits from a fairly level access however, guests should be aware that the drive is part gravel and there is a small stepped threshold at the front door. There is a key safe provided so check in is flexible.

Paddlers View is situated next door to The Quillet ( where we live) but is totally private and secluded.

Other things to note

Paddlers View is child friendly but we do suggest that you accompany small children on the rear terrace/deck and hot tub area at all times.

Smoking is not permitted in the Property.

 We do allow pets but please do message prior to booking and advise what breed your pooch is. A small chargeable fee of £30 per visit per pet is applicable. Please can you pay on arrival or leave it in the envelope in the kitchen - thank you in advance. 

On entry to the property you will be greeted with a welcome pack containing some beautiful, locally sourced produce!

We also have a few other essential items such as Nespresso coffee machine, GHD hairdryer and Straighteners, branded toiletries, beach bag , wood and kindling for the wood burner.

In-house catering - cooked on site or meals prepared and delivered;

Maid service - mid week or as frequent as required;

Paddle board hire;

Collection and drop off - if you are travelling down by train or bus transport can be arranged;

In-house masseuse- a selection of massages and treatments available.

Only use melamine glasses for hot tub - No Glass allowed. If any damages to the hot tub tub, such as glass, mis-use requiring the hot tub to be emptied and refilled there will be a fee of £120.00.

Paddlers View is very easy to find. As you enter Kingsbridge you will arrive at the bottom of the town, drive along the promenade with the water on your right hand side. As you pass the park on your left, take the first road Highfield Drive on your left. Continue up the hill and Paddlers View is on the right hand side just past the 2nd lamppost. Turn down into the driveway which is located in between 2 houses, No. 7 and No. 11. As you drive down Paddlers is directly in front of you on the left hand side.
Please park outside on the gravel chipping.
